Request for Proposals from
Construction Managers at Risk for
Orangefield Independent School District
2026 Bond Athletic Field and Site Improvements
Orangefield Independent School District invites proposals for Construction Manager at Risk services for its 2026 Bond Athletic Field and Site Improvements. The anticipated project budget is $10.5 million. Scope includes baseball, softball, and football synthetic turf; athletic facility, lighting, press box, elevator, parking, accessibility, drainage, and utility improvements. Services include preconstruction estimating, scheduling, constructability review, and construction management, coordinated with school operations and athletics.
Selection will use the one-step process based on qualifications and proposed fees. Sealed proposals are due 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at the following location: Orangefield ISD Administration (Mailing address) P.O. Box 228, Orangefield, Texas 77639, (physical address) 9974 FM 105, Orange, Texas 77630; Attn: Dr. Shaun McAlpin, Superintendent. All proposals will be publicly opened, and names of proposers and any monetary proposals read aloud at 2:01 p.m. at the location and date noted above. The CMAR Request for Proposal package may be obtained at the District’s administration office or electronically from Dr. McAlpin. Orangefield ISD will conduct its evaluation and scoring of proposals in relation to the selection criteria, weight, and methodology published in the Request for Proposals package. Orangefield ISD reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Proposals.
