DRAFT ENVISION ORANGE 2050 COMPREHENSIVE MASTER PLAN

The City of Orange will conduct a Town Hall Meeting to explain and receive public input regarding the Draft Envision Orange 2050 Comprehensive Master Plan.

ABOUT ENVISION ORANGE 2050
The Draft Envision Orange 2050 Comprehensive Master Plan is intended to establish a long-range framework to guide the physical development and redevelopment, quality of life, and overall growth and development of Orange through the year 2050.
The plan presents a coordinated vision for the community’s future and is designed to assist City leadership, residents, businesses, and other community groups and partners in making informed decisions that affect Orange over the coming decades.
The plan addresses major factors that will influence the future of Orange, including:
Land Use – How land is developed, redeveloped, and used throughout the community;
Transportation and Mobility – Streets, transportation systems, connectivity, pedestrian and bicycle mobility, and access throughout Orange;
Infrastructure and Public Facilities – The infrastructure, public services, facilities, and other community investments necessary to support Orange’s future;
Community Character – The physical character, appearance, identity, and sense of place of Orange;
Quality of Life – Community amenities, services, opportunities, and other factors that contribute to the well-being and vitality of the community; and
Historic and Cultural Resources – The preservation, recognition, and enhancement of Orange’s historic, cultural, and community resources.
PUBLIC INPUT WELCOME
The Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the Draft Envision Orange 2050 plan and provide input before the plan is finalized.
At the meeting, the City will explain the draft plan and members of the public will have an opportunity to:
Ask questions about the Draft Envision Orange 2050 plan;
Provide ideas and recommendations regarding policies, programs, and projects that should be considered for inclusion in the plan; and
Recommend changes or revisions to the Draft Envision Orange 2050 plan.
All interested members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate.
A copy of the Draft Envision Orange 2050 Comprehensive Master Plan is available for public review at City offices and on the City of Orange website orangetexas.gov.
